Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BIO: I am Lulu, a most superior and affectionate feline. My human exists primarily to provide pets and cuddles, which I graciously accept. When they stroke my luxurious fur, I reward them with vigorous kneading—making what they call “biscuits”—and a purr so deep and rumbling it vibrates through their entire inadequate body. Nothing in this world compares to cheek scratches, chin rubs, or ear pets. I melt. Completely. I lean into their hand with such devotion that my elegant face gradually descends to the floor while I drool in utter bliss. Dignity? Please. Bliss is bliss. There is a dog in this house—a foster sibling of sorts. At first, I regarded him with appropriate suspicion and kept my distance. Now, however, we engage in glorious games of chase and playful ambush. He has learned his place. Loud noises are an abomination. The vacuum cleaner, the laundry machine, the dryer—these mechanical monsters send me fleeing for cover. I refuse to dignify them with my presence. Other cats are… complicated. The elderly Calico who shares this territory (15 human years, practically ancient) merely glances at me, then looks away as though I am beneath notice. This insolence causes me to hiss dramatically, puff my magnificent tail to twice its size, and retreat with maximum fluff. I have not yet decided if additional cats would be tolerable. Further observation is required. I am highly vocal and expect my humans to listen. I announce my arrival, demand attention, comment on the quality of service, and narrate my day in a rich variety of meows, trills, and chirps. Communication is essential. Activity is my art form. My catnip-stuffed mouse meets a glorious fate beneath my paws. Feathered toys are stalked and pounced upon with lethal precision. Bells inside rolling balls? Pure symphony. I scale my towering cat tree to survey my kingdom from the highest perch. Curiosity is my nature—I explore every corner, and I delight in hiding only to leap out and startle my humans. Their little gasps of surprise are most satisfying. Boxes, naturally, are irresistible. Small, large, awkwardly shaped—it matters not. If it is a box, it is mine, and I must investigate immediately. This is my world. You are welcome to admire me in it.
RESCUE: I was bought by a couple, but after they broke up the human make didn't want me around. I was only with them for a short period of time. He then asked my foster mom if she wanted me because he wanted to dump me at some parking lot, but luckily my foster mom took me in.
FAVORITE ITEMS: Catnip, Mice, feathered toys, toys that rattle or jingle, ribbons, boxes, and lasers
ADDITIONAL INFO: Shy; Quiet home; Older kids
FOOD: Iams dry food, Fancy Feast shredded meats and pates.
GOOD WITH: People, kids, and cat friendly dogs

More about this rescue
Like the animals that come our way, Animal Rescue Connections (ARC) may be small but we make a big difference in people’s and animals’ lives. Primarily serving Bulverde, Comal County, and Northern San Antonio, ARC is an all-foster based organization with volunteers who are passionate about our adoption, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and helpline programs.
Located in Bulverde TX, we are an all-foster organization, caring for our rescued animals in our own homes. Because we are not a shelter, we cannot take in all the animals we get called about, but we can find the "connections" you need to help you with your rescued, lost or found animal.
