HAZEL is a dainty, beautiful calico with medium to longish length hair & a thick fluffy tail; born mid-April 0f 2024 (around 1.5 years old). She's sassy, playful, curious, active - and did we sassy? - and also a bit timid & initially afraid of anything new - that's why she needs someone who will be patient with her; she'd do best in a tranquil home without a lot of noise & activity. She had been adopted as a kitten, but was returned when there were problems with her and the other resident cat - it's probably best if she is the only kitty.
Originally named Wenona (her name is a Native American word meaning "first born daughter") she was among a group of 9 young outdoor kittens who were caught & brought inside for socializing (away from their feral momcat).
They initially came from a Miami Avenue address, so all 9 were named for Indian Tribes & American Indian names. They were all bought inside when they were pretty young & grew up together in a loving foster home with a variety of cats & kittens.
These 3 kitties Sequoia, Tecumseh and Wenona were born to a semi-feral, outside mom-cat around mid-April, 2024. They grew up with close cousins, Lakota, Cheyenne & Miami, Cherokee, Choctaw & Comanche, who were born around the same time to another outside momcat.
Ad option fee ($60.00) includes Spay or Neuter, vaccinations, combo-tested - negative for FeLV & FIV, and micro-chipped.
