Jimi is a very sweet and playful young dog who’s been with us for about two months.
He gets along well with our other dog, our cat, and our two young boys. The challenge is that our kids are very physical and excitable with him, and while Jimi tolerates it well, it isn’t a great long-term environment for him.
He’s estimated to be around 7 months old, mixed breed, and likely to grow into a 60–80 lb adult.
He’s healthy, up to date on vet care and shots, and has started basic training. Like many adolescent dogs, he needs regular activity, structure and mental engagement to reach his potential.
Jimi is affectionate and loves attention, especially belly rubs. He bonds quickly and enjoys being near his humans (or sleeping on them).
Ideal adopters are active and dog-experienced, with time for training and activity. Jimi is a great dog who just needs a better match than our household can provide.
