If you are the type of person who gravitates towards the shy ones, Cheddar is one of those dogs who instantly has your whole heart. When you first meet him he may seem scared, and even look at you with a furrowed brow, but as you can see from his videos the moment you get on his level and baby talk him he is the happiest and waggiest creature that will shower you with kisses. We love a dog who does not show that side to everyone right away.
Cheddar comes to us from a partner shelter in rural Tennessee. Cheddar and his brother Charley (the outgoing one!) were abandoned on a rural country road, and found by some good samaritans when they were in need of love and some groceries!
These boys were so happy at the shelter where meals could be relied on, and they got a lot of love and attention. Thanks to their caring staff and volunteers, these boys have blossomed into wonderful and sweet young men. Both walk very well on leash, are super polite, and love other dogs.
We know Cheddar is going to make a person or family so happy! We know his person or people will look past the timid exterior and spend that extra minute drawing his silly side out. He is so loving and deserves that in return.
Cheddar’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
