My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Twisted Tea!

This adorable grey girl is as bubbly and full of life as her name suggests! Miss Tea loves everyone she meets — people, cats, dogs — you name it. She’s an outgoing, affectionate sweetheart who purrs like a hemi-engine the moment you start rubbing her ears.

Miss Tea may have been born with a deformed back left leg, but don’t tell her that — it doesn’t slow her down one bit! She’s a playful, energetic kitten who loves to zoom around, chase toy mice, and proudly carry them in her mouth like trophies. Her leg will need to be amputated in the future, but she’s expected to live a completely happy, active life as a tripod kitty.

Currently fostered with an adult male cat and a large dog, Miss Tea fits right in and makes friends easily. She’s confident, cuddly, and full of personality — the total package!

If you’re looking for a social, spirited kitten who will fill your home with purrs, play, and endless love, Miss Tea is your girl!

The adoption fee is $575 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2), FeLV vaccines (minimum of 2), Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

We proudly have over 17,000 successful adoptions and excellent Google Reviews:

Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.

The Greater Houston area faces one of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the U.S. We’re a nonprofit on a mission—to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs at risk, while promoting spay/neuter outreach in the community. When you adopt, you save more than one life— the one you adopted, and the space opened up to save another.
