Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dennis
Age: 4 years old Sex: Male (Neutered) Adoption Fee: $145
Dennis, affectionately known as Dennis My Menace, earned his nickname while spending time at a women’s group home, where he became quite the social butterfly. He loved bouncing from room to room, keeping the ladies company, and settling in to watch TV like one of the family.
When it was time for him to move on, Dennis was lucky enough to stay safely in one of the women’s rooms until he could come to WARL. Now, this big guy is settled, secure, and ready for a forever home of his own.
Dennis is a big, solid lap cat with a sweet nature. He enjoys companionship and affection on his terms and will happily relax beside you or on your lap. While he can do well with other cats, they’ll need to respect that Dennis likes to be the dominant one. He prefers his personal boundaries respected, no belly rubs, and he’s not a fan of being picked up but in return, you’ll get a loyal, gentle, and loving companion.
Dennis was diagnosed with HIV in 2023 and confirmed by WARL. So, Dennis would need to be in a home with no other cats, or with other positive cats.
If you’re looking for a calm, confident cat who enjoys being part of the action and lounging with his people, Dennis might be your perfect match.
Interested in meeting Dennis? WARL offers walk-in adoption hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 12:00–4:00 PM.
Can’t make those times? No worries! Simply fill out an online Adoption Inquiry Form, let us know what works for you, and we’ll be happy to arrange a visit.
