Kiki is a 2 year old Labrador Retriever. We took her in when her family could no longer care for her. As trainers, we are giving her training prior to adoption and will include going over that training with the new adopters. She is a happy go lucky, sweet pup! She is shy when first meeting new people but warms up. Has lived with children before. We were told she did well with them but are unsure due to how timid she is upon meeting people. It’s apparent Kiki had a heavy-handed person previously. She needs a patient family willing to build trust. She prefers a home with another dog of similar size but ideally a neutered male to prevent future competition and rivalry (common with same sexed dogs), although Kiki has lived with other female dogs before. She was very attached to the other male dog in her previous home. Kiki just saw the vet and vaccines are updated. Whomever adopts her will be required to sign a spay contract and spay her.
