My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chief is an energetic, healthy 5-year-old Dalmatian that I rescued when he was a puppy. He has basic obedience training and has been socialized with other dogs. When he was younger, he lived with and got along well with another rescue, a senior lady Chihuahua who has since passed on. It has been a while since Chief has lived with another dog so he would need to be properly introduced to a new sibling to ensure they get along before going to his new forever home. Chief has always done well with children, including my toddler who loves him - up until New Year's Eve when he bit my 11-year-old stepson. The bite did not require stitches. After an examination from his vet, he has a clear bill of health although we are still not sure what caused the upset. Holiday stress? Regardless, we are forced to make the tough decision to rehome our beloved family dog to a childfree home. I would also recommend a cat free home as Chief loves to chase (much to his irritation) my step father's cat.
