Bear is my best friend. When we first met he was just 8 months old , we did everything together. He was my driving buddy, work companion. Getting him potty trained and kennel trained took a while but he now goes straight to his kennel on command. He is protective, it is in his nature to work he loves to be active, and he loves to play, he needs that attention. He prefers a small family, he will stick by your side. He has never had any issues with our cats or other dogs in the home, however taking him out on walks he needs more training. If he does not know you or unfamiliar people, he gets protective. Be careful with children, loud noises and fast movements around Bear will make him uncomfortable and he will get defensive.
I always tell people to approach him slowly and calmly at first until he gets to know you, then you will find him begging you for attention and cuddles.
