My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Sparky and I am a 2 year old male. I was picked up when traps were set in a colony. I went to the vet and everyone realized that I was friendly! Unfortunately, I tested positive for FELV Feline Leukemia Virus. I’m in great shape and must have been infected by another cat since most kittens born with FELV do not survive beyond 1 year old. Now that I’m indoors and will get regular checkups, I can have a good life ahead. I am a very friendly guy who comes when called. I love being petted and having your attention.

More about this rescue

Our volunteers are a group of individuals dedicated to the rescue of unwanted animals and educating our community on the importance of spaying and neutering their animals in order to stop the over population of unwanted domestic pets; primarily kittens and cats.

Our goal is to provide the public with resources on being responsible pet owners and the proper care necessary to have a healthy and happy pet. We rescue disadvantaged cats in the hope of finding them "Forever Homes."
