If you’re searching for a cheerful, fun-loving little companion, Bow Wow might be the perfect match! This happy guy is full of personality and playful puppy energy. He loves to zoom around, isn’t intimidated by bigger dogs, and is always ready to join in on the fun.
Bow Wow is an active pup who can be a bit adventurous—he’s been known to hop up on things and test his limits—so crate training is important for him. He may protest briefly when first crated, but he does settle down after a bit. He sleeps best in a covered crate and is still working on sleeping through the night, though he’s making progress. (He might just be the type who’d happily snooze all night if invited into bed!)
He appears to be mostly potty trained, heading outside with the other dogs to do his business. He also has an endearing “happy tinkle” when greeting his favorite person—his excitement just gets the best of him sometimes.
Bow Wow eats well, is very food-motivated, and loves being where the action (and snacks) are, which makes him a great candidate for training. With consistency, patience, and love, he has all the potential to grow into a wonderful, well-mannered companion.
Bow Wow would thrive in a home ready to embrace puppy energy and help guide him as he learns the ropes—he’s absolutely worth it.
Bow Wow was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. He has tested positive for Heartworm. Treatment will be covered by the rescue at one of our partner vets.
Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events!
We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently.
