My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lazlo, a kitty so handsome he makes a young Brad Pitt look like Elmer Fudd. Laz is an 8 month old mitted seal point Balinese/Snowshoe mix looking for his forever home. He is initially shy with new people, but warms up quickly with some patience. Lazlo NEEDS a home where he will have another young, active kitty companion to share the good times with. He is a rough 'n tumble player who enjoys games of chase/pounce and doesn't hesitate to bite the neck of another cat... not all cats appreciate this dominant type of play. His stunning blue eyes (which don't photograph well, but trust me, they're amazing) will mesmerize you and make you forget he just destroyed a roll of toilet paper and knocked a salt shaker off the table. When he's done creating Kitten Chaos, he'll settle in for a nice nap, making your house look beautiful by his mere presence. Lazlo is very sweet, not a mean bone in his body, and has never hissed, growled, or scratched, even when new and scared. He loves to be petted, and will wind around your legs and then flop over for a petting. He needs safe space to roam and would not be well suited to apartment living. Laz is currently being fostered in Lorton, VA. Come meet him and fall in love! Microchipped. Posted 1/11/26

Additional adoption info

We strive to make the "purr-fect" match through our interview and application process. Adoption fees, which range from $165-$185, include all medical work (FELV/FIV testing, shots; spay/neuter, etc); home visits may be required prior to final placement. The majority of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs or as a companion to another young cat/kitten already in the home. Sorry, but we do not adopt very young kittens to families with children under 6 yrs old due to safety concerns for both child and kitten. Adopters also receive a certificate for a free comprehensive wellness exam at any Caring Hands Animal Hospital.

Go meet their pets

All of our cats are cared for in cage-free private foster homes; therefore, we request an application be completed before setting up appointments to meet them. Request an application by emailing us through our website. Adopters must live within a reasonable driving distance to No. VA ( maximum 60 minutes); we do not ship/transport our animals.

More about this rescue

We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. We do not have a shelter and rely on a group of dedicated foster homes to care for our felines until a "fur-ever" home can be found. We actively promote the importance of spaying and neutering and best practices in companion animal care. The majority of our cats/kittens come from high-kill shelters. We do not receive any government funding and rely on private contributions, 100% of which go to provide medical care, food and supplies.
