Blitz spent 5 months of her puppyhood in a rural animal shelter with heartworms. She is now a year old and undergoing treatment at her foster home. She loves other dogs and her high energy leads to much play and chase! She is happy go lucky and extraordinarily athletic. She needs a very active home or another high energy dogmate to keep her company and entertained. She is able to settle down and be extremely manageable in the house and has very good house manners. she is super soft with a thick coat, does great with baths, riding in the car, and going to her crate. She is pottytrained and unbelievably smart! This will be a really fun dog to train to any kind of sport/tricks. We welcome all adopters, all experience of ownership levels, all ages above 21 years old for primary adopters, but most of all....everyone who has love to give and a home to share! There is a required adoption application so that we can make sure each adoption is a good match for both the humans and the dog. Upon adoption approval, there is a contract to sign stating no abuse will come to the animal. The adoption fee covers the pet's animal shelter release fee, vet check, spay or neuter, age-appropriate shots, heartworm test if age appropriate, age-appropriate parasite prevention, vet records, leash, collar and transport. The fee slightly varies depending on vet needs for each individual animal. Please inquire for price.
