Matilda is a 2-year-old, 22-pound merle Corgi mix with a big heart and a resilient spirit. She had a rough start to life—she was found as a stray with a large gash on her neck—but thanks to lots of care and love, she’s healing beautifully and is now ready for her forever home. 💕

Matilda adores people and does great with kids. She’s affectionate, friendly, and loves being part of the action. Like many young dogs, she still has some puppy tendencies, so crating is important when she’s left unsupervised to help set her up for success.

When it comes to other dogs, Matilda can be a bit selective, so a proper meet-and-greet is required to ensure a good match. With the right introductions and guidance, she can thrive in the right environment.

Once your application is approved you will be contacted by the rescue and discuss the dog you are interested in and transportation.

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

All information regarding our dogs and transportation will be discussed prior to adoption.

Puppies under 6 months: $350
Dogs over 6 months: $300
(Special adoption fee applies to some dogs and puppies)

Located in Boerne, TX and transport all across United States for a $300 transport fee.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
