Why I need a new home

Does not get along with other pet

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mittens was my first cat, adopted from the OC Animal Shelter, and he truly is a special boy. He’s incredibly cuddly and affectionate, and he bonds deeply with his person.

Unfortunately, after another cat was introduced into the home, Mittens began experiencing increased anxiety. He has made it clear that he thrives best as the only animal in the household. When he is the sole pet, his anxiety is minimal and he is much more relaxed and content.

Mittens is independent and low-maintenance, he enjoys spending the day tucked away in his favorite hiding spots and happily comes out to greet you when you get home.

I’m looking to rehome Mittens not because of a lack of love, but because I want him to have the calm, stress-free environment he deserves. He would do best in a quiet home where he can be the center of attention and feel secure.
