Ember is a small, slender girl with big round eyes—mostly warm yellow, with a soft green ring around her pupils—that light up with curiosity. She’s quick and agile, but only shows off that speed when chasing her brothers or darting for snacks. Because of Ember's love for playing and activity, she would need to go home with one of her foster mates or to a home with an active resident cat!
Hold out your hand, and she’ll come over to rub against you for pets; when she’s really happy, her tail stands tall and quivers a little. She also loves a good butt scritch and will lower her body to make it easy for you. A total foodie, she’ll sit on command for treats and even stand on her hind legs, paws draped over your knee, to peek at what you’ve got. Her soft, high-pitched meows kick into high gear when it’s snack time—she’s not shy about asking for what she wants!
When she’s not playing or begging for food, she’s a quiet companion—she snuggles up with her brothers for cozy naps or curls up beside your bed to keep you company. She’s not into cuddles or being held just yet, but with time, patience, and lots of treats, she might warm up to gentle affection.
Ember is estimated to be 9 months old. She is spayed, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Ember is looking for a calm home where she can build trust at her own pace—perfect for someone who loves a curious, easygoing kitty with a big heart.

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.
2.
Approve Application
We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.
3.
Interview
We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.
4.
Meet the Pet
Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!
6.
Pay Fee
7.
Take the Pet Home
Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
