Fern is a 9 year old domestic shorthair cat. We adopted her from a county shelter when she was just under a year old. She's lived in a family with 3 kids all her life, and a Labrador Retriever for the last few years, so she's good around both kids and dogs. Fern is an indoor/outdoor cat and is happiest when she can both explore outside and also come home at night to cuddles with her favorite person, which has been my 15 year old for the 8 years or so that we've had her.
We are moving cross-country this summer and will unfortunately not be able to take her with us, and hope we can relocate her to a new caring home.
