Urgent Rehoming Needed – Meet Zinnia
Zinnia is a beautiful 3-year-old spayed female German Shepherd/Husky mix who is in urgent need of a new home due to an unexpected family medical situation. My mother-in-law’s health has changed suddenly and requires immediate care, and we are relocating within the next week. This decision is absolutely heartbreaking and was never anticipated when we adopted her.
About Zinnia:
3 years old, spayed female
German Shepherd/Husky mix
House trained
Great with people, dogs, and cats
Lives peacefully with cats and an older dog—everyone rests and lounges together
Knows sit, shake, fetch, and generally listens well to commands
Sweet, gentle disposition
Loves belly rubs and affection
Recently learned to calmly enjoy being brushed (a big win for her beautiful coat!)
Zinnia is playful but also knows how to relax. She even plays gently with one of our cats and coexists calmly with the others. She truly has a wonderful temperament and would make an amazing companion.
Medical Info:
She is due for vaccinations
Records are currently inaccessible due to the move
We are willing to cover the cost to get her fully up to date on shots
Timing:
We are on a very tight timeline and must find her a safe, loving home by January 17–22 (absolute latest).
