Mike is a gentle little soul with a soft Russian Blue fur coat and a heart that is just beginning to bloom. This three-month-old Domestic Short Hair kitten is very shy at first, but each day he grows a bit braver as he learns that people can be kind and comforting. Once he feels safe, his playful side peeks out and he happily chases toys, especially rolling ball toys that spark his curiosity. Watching Mike build trust is incredibly rewarding, and his quiet sweetness makes every small step feel special. He would do best in a calm, patient home with experienced cat people who understand shy kitties and can let him move at his own pace. A friendly feline companion is a must, as another cat helps him feel secure and confident. Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
