Karly is a wonderful dog! She's sweet, snuggly, playful and friendly with people and other animals (except, perhaps, for squirrels :-)
She's 5 years old and about 50 lbs. She obeys sit, down, and shake. She's a little iffy on come, stay and not pulling on the leash, but she clearly knows what they mean. She does jump up when meeting people so that would need to be worked on. We've had to use a dog sedative pill for car rides but that may be because she's not used to them. She whines but doesn't bark.
Her previous owner(our son's friend) developed a disability including some limitation with mobility, became unable to work and had to move to a place that doesn't allow pets.
We took Karly in because the move was happening suddenly, but, unfortunately (we already love her!) we can't keep her because we travel a lot. In fact, when we agreed to take Karly we already had our next trip set up for Jan 23rd - Feb. 1st.
Karly (named after Karlach) would be so happy to be YOUR dog.
