Posting this with an extremely heavy heart as it is not something I ever expected to do. We are looking to rehome our 7 and 5 year-old cats together. We have two small children and another on the way and are not able to give the cats the love and attention they deserve. We also travel often and this has clearly been upsetting them. We recently went on a trip and though we had someone stopping by periodically to take care of them they unfortunately began acting out behaviorally by having accidents in the house. Since we have been back, they have stopped.
They are great with kids, however they would do best in a home with older kids or no kids so that the owner can give them plenty of love and attention. They would also do best with someone who doesn’t do a large amount of traveling. I will be willing to keep them as long as necessary until we are able to find the perfect fit and will not just let them go to anyone. They’ll come with cat trees and beds, food, dishes, toys.
