Chilli Mae is a tiny but mighty little sweetheart with a heart overflowing with love and resilience. Despite a rough past, this gentle, submissive girl greets the world with nothing but trust, softness, and affection. She truly embodies grace and gratitude.
Chilli Mae recently underwent a major dental procedure and bravely said goodbye to 16 teeth. True to her spirit, she bounced right back—eating well, resting comfortably, and returning almost immediately to her cheerful, cuddly self.
She does have facial paralysis on the right side of her face, which means she can’t fully close or blink that eye. Thankfully, this is very easy to manage with artificial tears a few times a day, and she handles it like an absolute pro. It doesn’t slow her down or dim her sweetness one bit.
What shines most about Chilli Mae is her heart. In spite of everything she’s been through, she offers nothing but love—leaning into gentle touches, soaking up affection, and quietly asking only to be near her people.
Chilli Mae is looking for a calm, loving forever home where she can spend her golden days cherished, protected, and adored. If you’re searching for a soul who will love you unconditionally and ask for very little in return, Chilli Mae may be the perfect match. 🐾💖
All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
