My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home.

I'm available to meet with Wednesday-Saturday. The staff member I'm closest to works these days and this will give me the best success of showing you my true personality.

Hi, my name's Luci. I'll be honest with you - my courage comes in very small doses right now. New homes and unfamiliar faces send me straight into "invisible cat" mode, even though part of me desperately wants to come out and play. I'm looking for a family who won't let me become a permanent furniture decoration, but will instead help me practice being brave one step at a time. It took me a very long time to even consider being friends with the staff at the shelter, but they were very patient and look at me now! I have a favorite wand toy, a favorite hiding spot that I barely stay in, and now all I need is a family to call me their favorite.

Here's what you need to know about me:

I'm a special placement cat. I'm pretty particular about my perfect home and may need to meet with a family a couple times before I'm ready. My adoption process may take a little longer, but I'm worth the time!

I need an adult-only home. Living in a home with kids just isn't for me, I'm more comfortable with adults.

I need my own room to start out in when I get home. My fear runs deep, and a whole new house is too overwhelming. I'll need a space of my own that's small to adjust in for awhile.
