If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Hello, and thank you for reading.
I am looking for an adopter with experience caring for special needs cats who can give my kitten the support he deserves.
My boy is a sweet, loving kitten with so much fight in him. He is alert, affectionate, and loves attention, but he has a rear leg mobility issue. He recently began dragging his back legs and has trouble using the litter box. X-rays were normal, and bloodwork has been taken, but further diagnostics and treatment have become more than I can afford.
He is not in visible pain, is eating and drinking well, and still enjoys purring, snuggling, and being around people once he gets comfortable. I truly believe he still has quality of life, he just needs someone who can give him the medical support, physical therapy, or special care that I am unable to continue to give.
