My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blue is a 6mo old shepherd/husky mix who is very shy of people. He absolutely loves other dogs but is still learning to trust people. He was abandoned very young with his siblings and it's had it's impact. Once Blue knows he can trust you he is a sweetheart and loves being around you, It just takes him time to adjust.

Blue is a real diamond in the rough. He's a dog worth working for!! Blue is available for adoption on contract to finish his vetting.

More about this rescue

Happy Paws Plattsmouth is a volunteer-powered 501(c)(3) charitable organization serving Cass, Sarpy, and Douglas Counties with one mission: to transform the lives of animals in need while enriching the families who welcome them home.
We operate entirely through volunteer efforts and the generosity of our community. Our funding comes exclusively from grants, fundraising events, and individual donations—we receive no state or federal assistance. We do not receive any money from any municipalities, counties or state. The grants we currently receive are from foundations that are not part of the city government.

Every donation, foster home, and adoption directly impacts our ability to save more animals and support more families in our community.
All our animals are fostered, and we do not have a brick and mortar location.
