My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jackalope is a Maine Coon/ Norwegian Forest Cat mix. He has the softest fur and a big fluffy tail. He is about 9 months old. Jackalope came to us as a bottle baby and likes lots of attention. He had an issue with one of his eyes and went through many months of treatment before he was able to have surgery on his eye. They were able to save his eye and he has full vision. His eye looks a little different but that is what makes him special. Jackalope is ok with quiet small dogs. He is hoping to get a human buddy to be his forever friend. Jackalope has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and tested negative for FIV/FELV Adoption fee 250

More about this rescue

Cool Cats Rescue is often focused on helping animals that are often overlooked. This includes community & TNR cats/kittens, e-listed dogs from our county shelters, cleft palate, puppies, aggressive and other "less desirable" pets that may need extra TLC, time, patience, and understanding before finding their forever homes. We are committed to building a supportive community of fosters, trainers, veterinarians,, and resources for the animals that we believe are in the most need--we even partner with other local rescues, a veteran's assistance program, a homeless assistance program, and a working cat program (mousers) to form creative solutions for our rescued cats.
