My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Evie is a super sweet chinchilla and she does really well with people....but not other chinchillas. Evie is 3 years old, (2025). She is on the chunky side, but she is active. She needs a large cage to jump and run in to help burn more energy. Evie does like to run on a wheel. Her favorite treat is a shredded wheat, and she chews on everything, so she will need lots of chew toys.

More about this rescue

CBT is a small animal rescue organization, founded in July 2010. We also provide programs to meet animals up close. CBT takes in small animals that have been abandoned or released by their owners. These animals are used in our education programs. Many animals have found forever homes through our adoption program. Not all animals are adoptable, and those will remain with us the rest of their lives, hence the "zoo" in our name. Those animals become ambassadors for our cause!
