Meet Yulmoo🌟
💙 Adogs Update Account: @_adogs_
1️⃣ Health Condition
* Spayed.
* Microchipped, heartworm to be retested in July 2026, anaplasma in March 2026. While taking post-treatment medication for heartworms, she experienced rapid breathing. An ultrasound revealed that as a complication of the heartworm infection, she has significant right heart enlargement and tricuspid regurgitation. Is currently on medication for these conditions and has gotten better.
2️⃣ Rescue Story
* Yulmoo was rescued during an Adogs volunteering event at the Gimje City Shelter while preparing for winter. At the time, the shelter was facing harsh freezing temperatures and a breakout of infectious diseases. Realizing Yulmoo wouldn't be able to survive such a dire environment, Adogs stepped in to save her and give her a chance at a new life.
3️⃣ Basic Information
* With People: Can be a bit shy at first, but switches into "people-lover mode" very quickly! Is so affectionate and will always come up to you and flop onto her back. Once she gets to know you, she is incredibly loyal and friendly.
* With Dogs: Gets along wonderfully with her friends at our center.
* With Cats: Has not yet been introduced to them.
* Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as she is currently living in a group environment at our center.
* Potty Training: Currently uses pee pads indoors at our center. May require additional training once she transitions to a home environment.
* Hygiene: Is very well-behaved and stays calm during brushing and nail trimming.
* Walks: Does very well without pulling on the leash.
* Car Sickness: Rode well without motion sickness during short-distance travel.
* Has never shown any signs of aggressive or defensive biting.
* May bark when a stranger approaches her with large, sudden movements because she feels scared.
* Loves human touch and treats.
* Gets startled if she is picked up suddenly.

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue
ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.
We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.
Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.
In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.
Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
