Meet Tia, a three-month-old gray tabby kitten whose story will stay with you long after you meet her. Just days after Christmas, Tia was found abandoned in an apartment dumpster, sitting helplessly in among the open boxes and holiday wrapping paper, unable to escape. We believe she may have once been a Christmas gift, cruelly discarded when she fell ill with an upper respiratory infection.
Despite such a heartbreaking beginning, Tia’s spirit is nothing short of remarkable. She has received treatment and is recovering beautifully, showing everyone just how much love and resilience can fit into such a tiny body. Instead of fear, Tia chooses trust. Instead of sadness, she offers affection.
This sweet, gentle girl adores people of all ages and melts into human companionship. She happily coexists with other cats and even enjoys the company of dogs, proving that her heart remains open to the world. Tia is also a very good little kitten; clean, well-mannered, and faithfully using the litter box.
Before adoption, Tia will be spayed, combo tested, fully vaccinated, protected with preventatives, and microchipped. All she’s missing now is the one thing she’s always deserved: a safe, permanent home where she will never be thrown away again.
