A true diamond in the rough who now shines after a little extra polishing. Formerly known as Eeyore, Callie is a 2-year-old pocket pittie bursting with personality and charm.
Callie does well with dog-savvy children, cats, and dogs smaller than she is. She appears to be selective with dogs her size or larger, so a home without another similarly sized dog would be best. She is friendly and confident with visitors and is not a big barker, though she will alert when she hears certain sounds in a gentle, protective way.
She loves zoomies, toys, and playtime, and would thrive with a fenced yard where she can safely enjoy her energy. Callie is smart and food-motivated, having mastered sit, stay, gentle, and lay down—and yes, treats are her love language!
She is house-trained and crate-trained (though she may need a little encouragement to go in), and she absolutely adores cuddling on the couch or sharing the bed. Callie enjoys affection, pets, and giving sweet kisses.
She can be a bit skittish with new things at first, such as wearing a coat, but once she realizes everything is okay, she adapts quickly. Sudden noises may startle her at times. When she’s feeling playful, she may occasionally do a gentle chew, but she’s learning appropriate outlets and improving every day.
Callie would be a wonderful match for someone who appreciates her energy, quirks, and affectionate nature. ⭐️Pit bull experience preferred.
