Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Freya 🐾💕
Freya is an 11-week-old, 12-lb Lab/Shepherd mix with the perfect blend of sweetness and playful puppy energy. She was found on Thanksgiving Day at just 5 weeks old and has since been raised in a loving foster home alongside three dogs and four cats.
Freya absolutely adores her doggie siblings and would thrive in a home with another friendly dog to play with and keep her company. She enjoys trying to play with her feline friends too—sometimes forgetting her manners and attempting a playful chase—so cat-savvy supervision is helpful. She would do great in a home with children and loves being part of the fun.
Mealtime is Freya’s favorite event of the day, and she happily shows her excitement with little hops and an occasional tiny “woof.” Like most puppies, she loves toys and stuffed animals, though shoes have a special appeal (training is in progress!). She is still working on potty training and learning the ropes, and while she can be timid with new people or experiences at first, her confidence grows more each day.
Freya is kennel trained, does well settling down after playtime, and is overall a very sweet girl. She can be a bit mouthy and a touch feisty when she’s amped up—but that’s just part of her adorable puppy charm.

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.
Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.
Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
