My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cecilia is sweet and sassy, with a warm, loving gaze that will melt your heart. She enjoys being pampered and thrives with plenty of feline enrichment toys to keep her busy. An excellent climber, Cecilia loves to play and can happily entertain her humans for hours on end.

When playtime is over, she’s a hardcore napper...as long as her nap spot is warm. Whether it’s a cozy bed or a welcoming lap, Cecilia simply wants to be close to her people. She’s looking for a family that can keep up with her energetic spirit while also giving her the attention and affection she happily craves. A home with young children, other pets, or cat-friendly dogs would be a perfect fit for this sweet tabby girl.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Please fill out our adoption application for approval prior to meeting the pet you are interested in.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once your application has been reviewed and approved, a meet and greet may be scheduled with the foster.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once the meet and greet has been completed and adopter would like to proceed, an e-contract will be emailed for review and signature

4.
Pay Fee

Once the e-contract has been signed, the adoption fee must be paid prior to scheduling a pick up time and date.

We are a direct to foster rescue. An application must be submitted and approved prior to scheduling a meet and greet. One in our care, our cats and kittens will never know a day without love or spend one moment in a shelter.

Better Beginnings Kitten Rescue is a small-scale volunteer-run organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming kittens in the Kamloops and surrounding areas.

Since 2019, we have specialized in providing compassionate care and foster homes to help find loving forever homes for abandoned and orphaned kittens.

We rely on community support and donations to help keep our rescue operational.
