My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌿🐾 Meet Kappy 🐾🌿

Kappy is brand new to Aloha ʻIlio Rescue, and we’re still learning more about her. What we do know so far is that she is timid and shy, which is completely understandable given how new and unfamiliar everything is right now.

Even in her quiet moments, Kappy has a sparkle in her eye. She’s curious about what’s happening around her and taking it all in! She just isn’t quite ready to trust yet. For now, we’re allowing her the space and time she needs to decompress, settle in, and feel safe.

We’re excited to continue getting to know this beautiful senior girl and watch her confidence grow at her own pace. 💫

More about this rescue

At Aloha Ilio, we strive to ensure every dog is matched up with an owner that is serious about the commitment adopting a dog entails, while at the same time ensuring that both parties are happy to become a family together. Above even our desire to rescue dogs is ensuring that those already under our care have the best quality of life possible. We strive to ensure our facilities stay clean, our dogs have the opportunity to stretch their legs, and all of them get the medical care and attention they deserve.
