Earl is a confident, affectionate gray tabby with a curious spirit and a love for being close to his people. Born outdoors with little human contact, Earl has truly surprised everyone with how brave and outgoing he’s become. He’s often one of the first kittens to greet new human friends and is always eager to see what’s going on.

Earl is a climber at heart and proudly embraces his role as a shoulder kitty — if you’re nearby, chances are he’ll want to perch up high and keep you company. He enjoys playtime, exploration, and then settling in for calm pets and cozy moments. His affectionate nature shines once he feels comfortable, and he forms strong bonds with his people.

While Earl still benefits from patience and gentle reassurance, his confidence and bravery set him apart. He would thrive in a loving home that enjoys an interactive, people-oriented kitten and understands his outdoor beginnings. A home with another friendly cat or a sibling would be a great bonus, but Earl’s bold heart and social nature will help him adjust beautifully.

OUR CATS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

All our cats are fostered in Texas but available for transport out of state. Our cats are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our out of state adoption fee is $250 plus transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes age appropriate, vaccinations, registered microchip, testing for FIV and FELV, and a fecal analysis. Cats will be spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age. Cats will also be current on prevention. A health exam will be completed, and a certificate will be issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Note: MNS reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care.

The initial phase of our adoption protocol involves prospective adopters completing an adoption application.

Following submission, our administrative team conducts a thorough review, and if approved, the application is then forwarded to the animal's foster.

Subsequently, a phone interview is scheduled to address follow-up queries, provide additional information about the pet, and acquaint the adopter with our organization. If the interview is successful, arrangements are made for a meet and greet, along with a home visit. For pets adopted out of state, the meet and greet and home visit are conducted virtually.

The final steps in our adoption process include verification of identification, finalization of the adoption contract, and payment of the adoption fee.
