Meet Ace — a black-and-white terrier mix with face paint worthy of a KISS band member and a story to match his rock-star looks. At around 7 months old, Ace is full of life, heart, and determination.
Ace was found in the middle of a road in a rural town, and after leaving the shelter, he faced an incredible battle with Parvo. He came dangerously close to not making it, but Ace proved just how tough he is. He charmed the veterinary staff and went on to have life-saving intestinal surgery — and today, he’s thriving.
This little survivor has lots of energy and a big personality packed into an almost 10-pound body. He happily plays with the big dogs and keeps up just fine! Ace would do best in a home with school-age children or older who can match his enthusiasm and respect his puppy energy.
Ace uses a doggie door, sleeps well in his crate, and is doing great with potty training — though he still has an occasional accident, as expected for a young pup. He’s a smart, resilient little guy who’s ready to trade his tough beginnings for a loving forever home.
