SCSN does not respond to Petfinder Inquiries. If interested in a meet and greet you must fill out the adoption application!

Spay is scheduled - can be adopted after surgery.
Paris is a gorgeous 36lb red colored spaniel/retriever mixed breed. We found her in a shelter and she was immediately friendly the second she met us. She took to kids, women and men without issue. She also showed very little interest in cats when she met them on leash.
She doesn't seem to have ever been around other dogs before and they make her very nervous! We are working on socializing her with dogs similar to her age/ size and temperament to show her they are not a threat.
She will need continued help with house training, crate training, and general socialization with other pets.
***If you choose to adopt (before all vetting is complete) and use your own vet rather than our local Snip Clinic for these services, you do so at your own expense and it will not reduce the adoption fee. Adoption fees are NON NEGOTIABLE.
1.) All dogs are adopted to the best possible match and calling or emailing the rescue will not speed up the process or liken your chances of being chosen.
2.) You will be notified by adoption coordinator if your application is approved. Adoptions are set up by appointment only. We do not have “hours” of operation.
3.) If the dog is posted as Available on Petfinder, it is available but may have pending applications and meet and greets set up.
4.) If you are not ready to immediately meet the dog you are applying for, please do not apply- we are too busy for window shoppers! Every dog is available to be taken home with you at the time of the meet and greet.
5.) We recommend you bring a carrier with you to transport the dog home as some can get carsick. Adult dogs and most puppies over 6 months of age will require a slip lead.
6.) Adoption fees can be paid with Cash, Check, Venmo, PayPal and credit Card.
