My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lance is a big great lump of a boy. He has all black fur with a spot of white but he has the brain cells of an orange cat! He’s the embodiment of a golden retriever in a cat through and through. When he sees you, he will greet you with head bangs and enthusiastic meowing.

His enthusiasm knows no bounds, including with food. He can’t wait for food of any form, wet or dry. Once he spots you opening a bag or a can, he’ll run over and push his head into the food before you can say “meow”!

His favorite things are people and food and people. He loves rubbing himself on your shins and purrs up and storm when you’re around. He loves loves loves head butting to show affection and he’ll curl up on your lap, chest, or by your side- wherever he can fit, he’ll sit.

Lance is such a big beautiful baby with the sweetest disposition and the biggest eyes. He’ll melt into a puddle on you and look into your eyes and purr for hours, just happy to be with you. He’s not very smart but all his brain goes to showing how much he loves you.

Lance is in a foster home in Philadelphia. He is FIV/FELV tested double negative, neutered, and up to date with all shots.

PS. Lance came into the rescue with Andrea and though they are not bonded and thriving in their single cat foster homes they can certainly be adopted together if you’re looking for for a dynamic duo!
