Mel (short for Marmalade) was caught for TNVR but was brought to treat an infected claw before release and once we met him, he melted our hearts. We knew he did not belong outside! He is a super sweet guy who loves attention but doesnt pester for it. Mellow personality and gets Along easily with other animals. Can be a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. He also likes to play and often runs around with the younger kittens.

KitUmbra Rescue Cats is a registered 501(c)(3) (as DBA under Loving Light Holistic Wellness) nonprofit cat rescue working to minimize community cat suffering in York County, PA and surrounding areas through rehabilitation, fostering, socialization, and adoption of injured or abandoned felines; neuter/spay, vaccination, and microchipping of every feline in our care; organization, supervision, and fundraising of community TNR efforts; provision of low cost cat vaccines, microchips, and dewormers for community members in need; and public education on responsible and humane cat ownership, holistic behavior training, and community TNR.
