My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tank is a big, lovable couch potato who lost his home through no fault of his own and is ready for a fresh start. True to his mastiff roots, he’s lazy, slobbery, and happiest lounging by your side (on the couch). He’s friendly with dogs and cats, enjoys meeting new people, and has great house manners. Tank is an easygoing, gentle giant looking for a soft couch and a forever family to call his own. 🐾. Tank is a lean 135 lbs with a hefty bone structure.

Tank is being fostered in Windsor, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.*

More about this rescue

Mile High Canine Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3, Colorado non-profit organization established in 2019. We are 100% volunteer run and foster home based. MHCR aims to provide abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs a loving home to grow and learn in until a suitable forever home is found. While in foster care, our dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested/treated, microchipped, and vaccinated. We rescue dogs from Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.
