My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

History: We recently helped a situation in Northern MN of two “sets” of husky mix families needing a second chance. They were at risk of being destroyed and rescue was needed urgently. They are extremely sweet kiddos who are each hoping to find forever homes of their own soon!

A Note from the Foster: Hello, my name is Alpine, I am 4 months old weighing in at 20lbs. Foster mommy says I have nice size mitts. Whatever that means I am not sure? 😊

I came to rescue after being remove from an urgent situation. I know when I am outside, that is potty time. Foster mommy thinks I may have been surviving outdoors. She is so happy I came to rescue and have the chance to live indoors with a family, like all dogs should.

My foster mommy is amazed with my personality. I am social, happy, silly, and love to snuggle. I am curious, confident, and smart.

Mommy said I sat somewhat nicely for a bath…… It helped that mommy talk to me the entire time. She told stories about what a good boy I am and the bright future that is out there for me!

Not to brag, but man… I look even more handsome with my coat all fluffed up. Apparently, I smell much better also!

I am already learning to walk on the leash for potty time. I am a fast learner and follow right beside my foster going up and down the steps to the house. I am keeping my kennel clean while sleeping through the night.

I love the new toys I am finding, and foster mommy laughed while I was trying to chew a puppy teething stick. I liked the smell but wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do with it.

I am food motivated which will come in handy for my training.

Did I mention I love playing and snuggling? That is a must for Alpine!!

I am also gentle with my teeth and mommy loves that for a family with children.

I will make a wonderful addition to a family.

Please keep in mind I am young and will need a home where someone can be with me while I am growing and potty training.

I am so excited to have a chance at a bright future!
