Hi, I'm Mrs. Bogart! I'm a young, sweet, and mellow cat who loves nothing more than a good nap and some gentle pets. Despite my calm demeanor, I'm always ready for a play session with a fun toy or a tasty treat. I might be a bit cross-eyed, but that just adds to my charm! I dream of finding a forever home where I can share all my love and purrs. I like to explore my surroundings for a few days in a new place, so please be patient. At the end of the day, if you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, I'm your cat! Adopt me and let's start our adventure together.

The Stone County SPCA was organized in 2009 and opened a shelter in 2012 in Wiggins, MS. We have always been a no kill shelter. Our biggest challenge is the high demand to place dogs and cats in our shelter. Currently, we take in approximately 1200 animals annually. We do not euthanize animals for lack of space. We have a live release rate of 95%. We do this by keeping adoption fees low and transporting a large percentage of our animals (65% of our dogs and puppies).
