Libby Joy is a sweet 3 year old, long haired, double dapple female. She came from a loving home, Sadly her owner is having health issues that prevents her from being able to take care of her. She is very sweet to everyone. She loves being around the dogs in her foster home and is good with kids too. She is playful and likes toys. She loves to play fetch and loves the squeak toys and she doesn't even tear them up. Libby will roll over for belly rubs. She sleeps quietly all night in her crate. Libby knows the doggie door and isn't afraid to use it :) She is a lap dog and gives the softest kisses. One thing to mention is that she is a double dapple so her beautiful blue eyes aren't perfect. She has born nearsighted but she doesn't know any different and it doesn't stop her being being a playful, happy dog. Her hearing is good. She likes to be where everyone is. She is the sweetest girl that loves everyone and just wants to be loved too! Her tails is always wagging!!
Love dachshunds and not ready to adopt or circumstances won't permit having a dog? How about being a sponsor or making a donation. Every one of our dachshunds receives excellent medical care along with day to day food, love and housing. Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.
