Lars is a four-year-old orange and white cat who is shy in new places and around new people. He currently spends much of his day tucked away in his bed, taking time to observe and feel safe in his surroundings.
With patience and gentle interactions, Lars slowly gains trust and confidence. He will stretch out to sniff hands and, once comfortable, gently bump into hands when pets stop, asking for a little more reassurance. Lars has no previous history of living with other animals or children and would do best with someone who understands the quiet, gradual nature of earning his trust.

If you see one that you're interested in you will fill out an adoption survey which gives us information on what you are looking for and what best suites you. If you are approved you can meet with an animal and go with the adoption process from there.

Puppies under 4 months - $250; Dogs (over 4 months) - $175; Dogs over 7 years - $75
Kittens (under 1 year) - $75; Cats (over 1 year) - $45
Rabbits-Neutered: $30, Spayed: $50, Neither: $15
Guinea Pigs-$10
Other small critters and birds-fees vary

We are a private, non-profit organization. We do no recieve any funding from the governemnt, we rely solely on the generous donations of people like you!
