My name is Callie!

Miss Callie was an excellent mommy outside, it's her turn to enjoy some comfort and love. She's just been brought inside after spay surgery, so she is adjusting. She's a thoughtful girl, she really looks right at you, not just furtive glances, but careful consideration. We believe she will grow into a wonderful, calm, nurturing companion. She would probably like to be adopted with one of her children and/or into a quiet home. Active children or noisy dogs will probably freak her out, but it is early days.

We are posting her admittedly prematurely in the hopes that someone takes an interest and will work with us to ease her transition. She's doing well and eating, she just figured out how to eat a tube treat and that was awesome! She isn't reactive towards us, but hasn't been handled except being trapped and now we are taking care of her so she doesn't ever have to go through a shelter. Right now, she only knows us two. She will need to be indoors only.
