Ogee is a senior male dog who was surrendered by his owner and now finds himself at the shelter, patiently waiting for a second chance at a loving home. He is house trained and gets along well with other dogs, making him an easy addition to a family. Ogee enjoys his treats and still has plenty of energy for walks and time outside, but he’s just as happy to relax and chill by your side. He’s a wonderful blend of active and laid-back, and would love nothing more than to spend his golden years feeling safe, loved, and at home. 🐶💙

The Chickasha Animal Shelter is a municipal shelter operated and funded by the City of Chickasha, Oklahoma. In addition to providing a safe environment for our adoptable animals we also are responsible for the enforcement of all animal related laws within the City of Chickasha and holding all stray animals that are located. In addition to these main roles, we also provide public Spay and neuter program with OkHumane, city pet licensing, and other educational services to our community.
We operate daily with a very limited staff supported by several amazing volunteers. We operate an active foster program and are always seeking to work with those in our community interested in assisting us in our mission.
