What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Richie found his way to me in August, emancipated and suffering from hair loss due to skin issues. I had him scanned for a microchip right away and he does have one. I found out that he had been adopted in March from the local animal control in AZ and he was 8 months old at that time. The registered owners never came forth.
I relocated to Port Charlotte and decided to bring him along. He has returned to full health although his is susceptible to allergies.
Let me tell you a little about Mr. Lionel Richie, he is probably the BEST dog I have ever had the honor of caring for! He is completely potty trained, he does not chew or destroy anything other than his toys. He does not have any anxiety issues and is ok with being put in a room if required. He gets along with other dogs and cats.
Reason for rehoming, he is a high energy dog and requires walking and a lot of play! I would love to find him his forever home with an active individual(s) that a lifestyle that better aligns with him.
