My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gold Line is a classic orange boy - lovable, energetic, and charming - everything you'd want in a kitten. He loves chasing a laser pointer around the living room, and his leaps to catch the wand toy get higher each day. Gold Line is a bit more reserved than his siblings, but who can blame him with two outgoing orange sisters. In the evening, he comes out of his shell, and will join you on the couch for some pets and snuggles. His purr is loud and strong - you'll know when he's happy. Gold Line is in a foster home with an older cat and a young child, and he does well with both, but his sisters seem more willing to put up with the kid, while Gold Line seems like to hanging out with adults more.

Go meet their pets

Due to COVID-19, we are not currently holding in-person adoption events. Most of our cats are in foster homes and we are doing virtual meet-and-greets with them.

We also have adoptable cats at our two partner cat cafes – CatCafe Lounge (https://www.catcafelounge.com/) in West Los Angeles and Cat Therapy (https://www.cattherapysb.com/) in Santa Barbara. You can make a reservation on their websites, or we can arrange a meeting by appointment once you have filled-out our application and spoken to our team.

More about this rescue

Stray Cat Alliance is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy, and valued. Everyday, our team works to save the helpless lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support. Our goals are to:

-Eradicate cruelty toward cats through advocacy, rescue, and education.
-Find loving forever homes for cats and kittens taken in through all of our programs.
-Help shelters transform from executioners to safe havens for cats by implementing SCA’s life-saving policies and procedures.
-Educate the community about the plight of free‐roaming cats and empower people to take action to stop population growth through spay and neuter.
-Create and sustain a No-Kill Nation by mentoring other communities to become no-kill through our grassroots programs.

Stray Cat Alliance envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters serve as temporary safe havens.
