My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jackson is a gentle loving dog, he is about 3 years old was found on the side of the road with 2 other dogs. He is trained in some commands but requires more training. He has a gorgeous black coat and even more a beautiful heart who just wants to be loved. He loves going on walks, greeting new people and other dogs, riding along for car adventure. At home, Jackson is the happiest playing with his foster siblings. Loves toys and gets along with everyone even cats. Jackson would do best out in a farm so he can run all he wants or at a house with a big back yard, he loves the outdoors as labs do. He also likes to stand and give you hugs. If you're looking for that special dog that will just be a friendly companion who wants nothing more to be by your side go on hikes or for walks then Jackson is your perfect match! He is neuter and is crate trained. Please applied to adopt at www.arkansaschihuahuarescue@gmail.com

Additional adoption info

We charge an adoption fee which varies on the age and health of the dog. We require 3 personal references and a vet reference. We do not adopt Chihuahuas to homes with toddlers or large aggressive dogs. We have a contract that outlines our expectations of the adopter. We require that the adopted pet never be relinquished to a shelter it must come back to our rescue. Our adoption fee includes a spay/neuter, Rabies vaccine, and fecal. Sometimes the dog may require more health testing that is done when the dog is in our care.
