CALL foster family at (530) 832-4728 in Portola, CA (just one hour from Reno or Truckee).
SAGE is a confident and mellow fellow who likes hanging out by the fire with his multi-species friends, and playing with his siblings and foster parents. He has beautiful swirled tabby markings and a white vest and socks. Such a handsome boy! Sage is still learning about humans and needs adopter(s) who have time to socialize with him each day. He is food and treat motivated so this is fun and easy, but requires a time commitment. He has come a long way since being born under the willows on the banks of the Feather River (along with his siblings Fiona and Willow, also available for adoption). He is being fostered and socialized in a home with a large dog, five adult cats, and a rabbit, and gets along great with everyone! He is very healthy, and is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP and there is no adoption fee. Please call his foster family at (530) 832-4728 for more information about Sage or his siblings.

More about this rescue
Friends of Plumas County Animals is a non profit 501(c)3 organization We are dedicated to improving the lives of the animals who come into our rescue and to reducing the number of unwanted/homeless animals through spay and neuter programs. When we volunteered at the local county shelter we built outdoor enclosures and play yards for the dogs and cats. Currently, Friends takes animals into our own rescue site where we spay and neuter animals who are above 4 months old and then re-home the animals. When we have the available monies we also help those in need of financial assistance spay and neuter their personal pets. Our adoptable animals are offered with no adoption fee to approved homes, and we survive on the generous donations of our adopters and supporters.
