My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m a happy, goofy Husky mix with a big personality and an even bigger love for playtime. I love attention and being part of the action—whether that’s playing, hanging out, or just being near my people.

I can get a little enthusiastic when I play (I mean, fun is fun!), so I’d probably do best in a home without small children. I have a bit of that Husky instinct and sometimes try to “herd” little ones, which isn’t always appreciated. Older kids or adults who understand my energy would be perfect for me.

I’m a smart, playful guy who would really thrive with someone willing to work with me on training and give me structure. I want to learn—I just need the right partner to help guide me. With consistency, patience, and lots of play, I know I can be an amazing companion.

If you’re looking for a fun-loving, energetic dog with a goofy streak and a big heart, I might just be your guy

More about this shelter

The Humane Association of Warren County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center has served Warren County and Southwest Ohio for over 50 years. We operate the only animal shelter and adoption center in Warren County and as a non-profit, animal welfare organization, depend on tax-deductible donations to support our annual budget. We are proud of the fact that, during those 50 years, we have provided a safe haven and loving care for tens of thousands of homeless dogs and cats, giving them a second chance for new and happy lives. In addition, we have reunited thousands of lost pets with their beloved owners.

Since our founding in 1973, our ultimate goal has been to find loving, life-long homes for every adoptable pet left in our care. At the same time, we have been successful in dramatically reducing the alarming number of unwanted dogs and cats in Warren County through our progressive, long-established spay/neuter initiatives.
